MAXSEAS Conference Insights | SUAC 2026 : The Advanced Path of Medical Equipment Demonstration
【Conference Preface】
From January 23 to 25, 2026, the 37th Saudi Urological Association Conference (SUAC 2026) was successfully concluded at the Hilton Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a team focused on medical 3D printing technology, MAXSEAS attended the event and experienced this academic exchange gathering of global urology elites.Supported by the Saudi Urological Association, the conference attracted top urologists, surgeons, pathologists and researchers from around the world. It enhanced global urological care and clinical diagnosis and treatment through professional exchanges, and provided an excellent opportunity for us to observe the current state of technical demonstration in the industry.
【Conference Overview】

Under the theme "Innovative Technologies Empower Precision Urological Diagnosis & Treatment, Interdisciplinary Collaboration Builds a Healthy Future", the conference focused on key topics including prostate disease diagnosis and treatment, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and precision treatment for urological oncology. It consisted of three main sessions: expert lectures, interdisciplinary forums, and hands-on workshops.During the event, we found thattheacademic content was both academically profound and highly practical. Cutting-edge achievements from authoritative experts and hands-on exchanges in clinical workshops all centered on technology implementation. This further drew our attention to a critical question: as a key carrier of technology application, can on-site medical equipment demonstrations match such a high academic level?
During the conference, global leading medical companies such as Intuitive Surgical, Karl Storz, Medtronic, Olympus, and Boston Scientific showcased cutting-edge devices worth hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars, making them one of the highlights of the exhibition. However, after visiting booths one by one and observing the demonstration process, our team identified a thought-provoking issue : The demonstration methods for these top-tier devices were generally inadequate. Most relied on ordinary plastic models and basic anatomical models to simulate key procedures, which stood in sharp contrast to the premium positioning and precise performance of the devices. This became the most noteworthy industry pain point from our participation.
【Conference Observation : The "Crudeness" of Demonstrations and the Pain Points of the Industry】

This shortcoming not only reduces the efficiency of technology communication but also directly affects the brand’s professional image and business conversion.During the conference, we observed that when a million‑dollar surgical robot demonstrated its precision using only a simple plastic model, many potential buyers stopped briefly and then left.More importantly, if exhibitors cannot visually present the clinical application scenarios of their devices through professional demonstrations, the cutting‑edge clinical technologies shared by speakers will create a gap between academic achievements and real‑world implementation. This weakens the practical value of the conference and remains a hidden issue that most exhibitors have not yet fully recognized.
【MAXSEAS Perspective:3D Simulation Has Become a Must for Demonstration Upgrade】
Based on our on-site experience, MAXSEAS firmly believes that : Against the backdrop of rapid iteration in medical technology and increasingly fierce industry competition, the demonstration is no longer an optional supplement, but a core tool for technical communication, clinical education and brand persuasion.High-value medical equipment deserves a high-standard demonstration platform. The extended value of a high-level academic conference also relies on strong technical demonstrations.Only in this way can a complete closed loop of “academic sharing + technology implementation” be formed.
Combining our extensive experience in medical 3D simulation and the industry demands identified at this conference, high-precision 3D simulation training models have become the essential choice for exhibitors to break through demonstration bottlenecks:
01 Recreate clinical scenarios and fully demonstrate technological advantages
02 Enable immersive interaction and accelerate clinical trust
03 Build professional branding and uphold high clinical standards

【Conference Summary : Say Goodbye to "Makeshift" Demonstrations,Let Technology Truly Be Seen】
Encouragingly, during the conference, we found that leading exhibitors such as Coloplast, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic have taken the lead in recognizing the importance of upgrading demonstrations. In line with the conference theme, some exhibitors used simulation models to demonstrate the application of minimally invasive devices in prostate surgery, which received wide recognition from attendees and speakers. This positive signal indicates that the industry’s demonstration approach is awakening and upgrading, which is also highly consistent with MAXSEAS’ technical philosophy.
Our on-site experience at SUAC 2026 has helped MAXSEAS gain an even clearer understanding of industry demands. We believe it is time to end the era of makeshift demonstrations.By adopting high-precision 3D simulation solutions that match product value, cutting-edge technologies can truly be seen, understood, and trusted. This is not only a commitment to clinical practice and an extension of the academic value of conferences, but also a critical investment for exhibitors to expand into the global market and build long-term brand competitiveness.
Going forward, MAXSEAS will continue to be clinical needs-driven, using more professional 3D simulation technologies to help medical device companies break through demonstration bottlenecks and empower the implementation of precision medicine.
